TopoMapping is a free, web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) and topographic mapping platform. We provide interactive mapping tools that allow users to view topographic layers, measure distances, calculate areas, perform coordinate transformations, and import/export spatial files (including DXF, GeoJSON, GPX, and KML).

All tool capabilities are subject to updates, modifications, or suspension at any time at the discretion of the developer, without prior notice.

3. Ownership of Spatial Data and Content

We respect the intellectual property rights of our users and believe in full data sovereignty:

All branding assets, logos, website layout, HTML/CSS styling, and site-specific JavaScript source code are the intellectual property of TopoMapping and may not be copied, redistributed, or reproduced without express written consent.

4. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

You may use TopoMapping for personal, educational, research, and professional/commercial GIS operations. However, you agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, disable, or overburden the website infrastructure.
• Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to harvest tiles or mapping data from the service providers integrated into our tool.
• Use our platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a manner that infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

5. Third-Party Mapping APIs and External Links

Our mapping application aggregates map views and coordinate systems from external sources, including OpenLayers, OpenStreetMap, ESRI, Google Hybrid, and Buy Me a Coffee. Your use of those layers and services may be subject to their respective terms of service and licensing. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or terms of third-party integrations.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

TopoMapping is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• The accuracy, precision, completeness, or suitability of topographic contours, distance calculations, area measurements, or coordinate conversions for surveying or legal boundaries.
• Uninterrupted service or freedom from bugs, viruses, or translation errors.

You acknowledge that maps and spatial measurements generated by web utilities should be verified before relying on them for construction, navigation, search and rescue, engineering, or legal surveys.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TopoMapping, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, data loss, or safety issues) arising out of the use or inability to use our tools, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
